The Government of East Java holds again Majapahit Travel Fair (MTF), the international cultural and tourism event. It is an appropriate event to promote cultural and tourism potential of East Java in particular and in Indonesia in general. This annual event which has been held for fourteen times has always shown great success and attended by a lot of participants from East Java, other provinces and overseas.
This will be our 14th annual MTF and promise to be the most beneficial than ever. MTF always achieves great success. The number of last year’s participants joining the Table-Top Business Meeting grew significantly.
Majapahit Travel Fair 2014 will be held on May 8 – 11, 2014 at Grand City Convex, Surabaya. The theme of the 15th MTF is Sport and Recreation. It is one of the efforts of East Java Government to develop the diversity of events and tourist attractions. It is also expected that MTF can enhance the contribution of tourism sector and open business opportunity for people.
MTF which is the most considerable tourism event for promotion, entertainment and knowledge combines the programs of Travel exchange (Travex), culture and tourism exhibition, and regional art performances. In addition, this year will be specially highlighted by sport community and recreation. Travex is a business meeting held in Table Top format between East Java tourism industry as seller and domestic and overseas tourism industry as buyer. It is potential to help domestic, regional and international tourism business promote and market their products and build networking.
