Opened with Ribbon-cutting ceremony on 27 June 2018, “Batik and Kimono” Exhibition was held from 27 June through 2 July 2018 at Hankyu Umeda Department Store in Osaka as one of the series of events to commemorate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Indonesia and Japan. The event exhibited collaboration of Kimono which combined with Batik, symbolizing cordial relationships between Indonesia and Japan.
Attended by exhibitors, media, and authorized people, ribbon was cut by Her Royal Highness G.K.B.R.A.A. Paku Alam (Gusti Kanjeng Bendoro Raden Ayu Adipati Paku Alam), Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Osaka, Mr. Mirza Nurhidayat, and Mr. Naoya Araki, president of Hankyu Hanshin Department Stores, Inc.
Ceremony was concluded smoothly with smiles and warm clapping of hands.
Many customers visited the exhibition which ended on a high note.
